Fall Festival 2018

October 20 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Join us for an afternoon of fun, Saturday – October 20th from 11am-3pm at Riverwalk – Jenks!

There will be Trick or Treating from 11a-3p, including activities for the kiddos at the following tenants:

*Los Cabos – Balloon artist
*Pinot’s Pallette – Trick or Treat Bag Painting $10, BYOP (bring your own pumpkin) Painting for $5.
*The Melting Pot- Fondue Pot Bean Bag Toss
*Bramble – TBA

*Maryn’s – Face Painting
*Andolini’s – Bean Bag Toss
*Pedego – TBA
*Burn Co – BBQ Glove Balloon Decorating

PLUS, Inflatables, Train Rides and Street Magic performed by Benjamin Wilborn throughout the common grounds.  Along with, a Vendor Market to help get a jump start on your Holiday shopping!

AND YES, WE ARE HAVING CONTEST THIS YEAR –

Costume Contest:
No need to pre-register to be judged, just show up on time for your division.
Judging will take place at the Coca-Cola kiosk in front of the amphitheater (main stage).
Prizes will be awarded for 1stand 2ndplace in each division.  Prizes will consist of Riverwalk Tenant Gift Cards in various denominations.

There will be 4 different divisions.

-2:00pm, Infant and Tot division (0 to 5 years old)

-2:15pm, Kids division (6-12 years old)

-2:30pm, Teen division (13-17 years old)

-2:45pm, Adult division (18 and up)

Rules:  Put together a creative, spooky, funny or just imaginative costume and wear it out to Riverwalk Jenks.
All costumes are welcomed; it doesn’t make any difference if they are homemade, purchased or rented.
However, please keep your costume “G” rated…this is a family event.

The first division will be called up to the judging area (see times listed above); and asked to LINE-UP in the roped off area.  Everyone will parade through the roped off area in front of the judges. You may howl, growl, wink, wiggle or screech at the judges, but no touching, poking or bribing the judges. Each judge will hand out 2 golden tickets to what they feel are the best costumes.  If you receive a golden ticket you are a finalist! The 8 golden ticket holders will go to the standing only area to be judged a second time. This is the time to look sharp for the judges, they are making their final decision to award the prizes.  REPEAT FOR THE REMAINING DIVISIONS.

DON’T FORGET – You must be on-time for your division (see times listed above), NO EXCEPTIONS!

 

Pumpkin Contest:
BYOP (bring your own pumpkin) either pre-carved, painted, or just decorated before 1:30pm and sign up at the Coca-Cola kiosk in front of the amphitheater (main stage).  After sign-up your creation will be put on display for ALL to see and at 2:30pm we will announce the winners.

Prizes will be awarded for 1stand 2ndplace in each division.  Prizes will consist of Riverwalk Tenant Gift Cards in various denominations.

There will be 3 different divisions

-Kids division (6-12 years old)

-Teen division (13-17 years old)

-Adult division (18 and up)

DON’T FORGET — Sign-up by 130pm and winners will be announced at 2pm.

 

Flying Tee Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest:

SIGN-UP BY CLICKING HERE.   LIMITED TO FIRST 10 ENTRIES in each division.  Each division will begin at the time listed below and you must be present and checked in 5 minutes prior to your time, NO EXCEPTIONS.  Check-in along with additional sign up, if all divisions are not filled prior to the event, will take place at the Coca-Cola kiosk in front of the amphitheater (main stage).

There will be 3 divisions and only one 1stplace in each:

-1:30pm, Kids division (6-12 years old)
1stPlace set of Kids Golf Clubs (retail value $199.00)

-1:45pm, Teen division (13-17 years old)
1stPlace $100 gift certificate to Flying Tee

-2:00pm, Adult division (18 and up)
1stPlace set of Adult Golf Clubs (retail value $499+)

Contest Rules:
• No hands can be used.
• The first person to finish his/her pie and stand up will be declared the winner!  Includes all the pie, crust and whipped topping!
• In the event of a tie, there are NO TIES!
• Any visible signs of sickness will cause disqualification.
• A completed registration form with acknowledgement of the waiver must be signed by all contestants prior to the start of each contest. Children under 18 must also have a parent or guardian present, and must also have a parent or guardian’s signature on their registration form.

There will also be a vendor market to help get a jump start on your Holiday shopping!
