FlyingTee & Cobra Puma Connect Recovering Teen Golfer with PGA Pros

 

TULSA, OK (February 28, 2018) – Two years ago, Traden Karch was like most teenage boys with a passion for his chosen sport, golf and could only dream of playing alongside PGA pros. However, after a horrific car accident that nearly claimed his life and robbed him of his memories, his PGA Tour dreams are being realized and new memories are being made.

 

“It was amazing and I cannot believe I was playing a putting game with Ben Crane. Then talking with Rickie (Fowler) about my car wreck on hole 11 was awesome,” Traden said after returning from a special visit to the PGA Honda Classic in West Palm Beach, Florida.

 

FlyingTee was proud to help coordinate the visit through its partnership with Cobra Puma Golf. The trip wrapped up on February 23, 2018, exactly two years from the date of Traden’s life-altering accident.

Traden not only spent time with the pros, he was treated like a pro with a special fitting for his own set of Cobra Puma Golf clubs and a personal tour of the PGA of America headquarters.

 

Traden’s parents, Chris and Manda Karch, said the trip was beyond what they could have hoped for. “We had such a wonderful time at the Honda Classic and want to thank the FlyingTee for making this happen for us,” said Manda Karch. “I can’t describe how wonderful it was to watch Traden get to interact with the players. It was an experience none of us will forget.”

 

FlyingTee named Traden the first FlyingTee Junior Ambassador and provided him with a Lifetime Membership last September. Golf has played a major role in Traden’s progress, so it is FlyingTee’s goal to ensure golf continues to support and inspire Traden in his ongoing recovery.
