Tulsa Audubon to visit for Eagle Watch event

The Jenks RiverWalk will partner with the Tulsa Audubon Society for an Eagle Watch event Saturday, Feb. 17, from 9-11 a.m.

 

 

Attendees of the family-friendly community event are encouraged to bring binoculars and warm clothing for a relaxing morning of nature watching alongside the Arkansas River.

 

 

The Tulsa Audubon Society will offer an interactive booth and will serve as nature guides for the duration of the event. The George Miksch Sutton Avian Research Center will also join with an information booth and assist with pointing out birds to view.

 

 

The Jenks RiverWalk recently installed four nature telescopes on the property, including one unit for color blind individuals. These telescopes are available to RiverWalk guests free of charge year-round.
